AZUMA HIROFUMI
東 博章
1971年三重県伊賀市生まれ。
中学生の頃に親戚から譲り受けたカメラに興味を持ったのが写真との出会い。
Born in Iga, Mie prefecture in 1971.
When Azuma was a junior high school student, he was interested in a camera given by a relative. This is his beginning of photography.
建築学科を卒業後、木工職人の経験を経て、家業の木工所を経営。農業にも携わる。
After graduate an architecture school, though experience as a woodworker, he is running his family’s woodworking plant. And is also a farmer.
2000年頃から大判カメラを主に使用して撮影を行う。主に風景写真作品を発表し、コンテスト等に入選多数。現在は自作した引き伸ばし機や機材を用いてモノクロプリントの制作を中心に活動を行う。
He is mainly taking photos with large format cameras since around 2000. He has been mostly presenting landscape photo works and winning many prizes in contests.
Recently he is producing works of monochrome print with the handmade enlarger and equipments.
